Maxon Cinema4D R19

La version 19 de Cinema4D est en approche (annoncée pour septembre), avec son lot de nouveautés et d’améliorations. Vous en trouverez plus bas une liste complète, mais voici tout d’abord ce qui a particulièrement retenu mon attention :

Le viewport évolue et restituera réflexions et profondeur de champ, ce qui change complètement la façon de travailler les matériaux et l’éclairage.

Une très attendue caméra sphérique fait son apparition, mettant fin aux divers bricolages pour obtenir un rendu VR.

La fracture Voronoi, très utilisée, voit ses possibilités augmenter.

En complément du tracking 3D, on pourra utiliser un outil de reconstruction pour générer des simili-objets basés sur le contenu vidéo pour ensuite facilement placer de nouveaux objets modélisés dans la scène.

Un nouvel effecteur son va permettre de beaucoup plus facilement indexer des animations sur des fréquences sonores.

Maxon jette également les bases de futurs développements en annonçant un moteur ProRender qui promet (même si c’est encore peu expliqué) une amélioration de la qualité mais surtout de la vitesse des rendus via GPU, pour toutes les cartes graphiques, même sur macOS !
